Massive and extracted, this is a wine that forces you to pay attention. Age worthy but wants to come out and play already. Deep plum, boysenberry and blackberry compete for your attention but rich cocoa and vanilla keep taking over and pulling you away. The tannins and anthocyanins assure a long life, but if you are in the mood for a rollercoaster ride and all you have is a bottle of wine, Armaan wants to play.

2019 Armaan is intensity personified. Deep dark hints to this wine’s core personality which is an absolute force of nature. Not for the timid, this is the type of Cabernet that separates the men from the boys. Luxurious textures make it a tad presentable but it’s pure core is raw and primal.

Our 2021 Armaan is the big boy. Massive in all ways. It is aromatically dynamic, textually concentrated, dense in flavor, wise, complex and intoxicating. This is the type of wine that made Oakville famous. Pure fruit, incredible intensity, and mouthwatering textures. If you need something huge and full of love in your life, pop a cork now. If you have enough patience to allow it to hit its stride, wait at least seven years and then enjoy it for the next decade. This is exactly what Oakville should be, controlled power and complexity.

While 2022 was a challenging vintage for many of the valley's vineyards, the super premium blocks at Tench that go into this wine had overhead sprinklers running nonstop to mitigate the extreme heat. The 2022 Armaan's color and concentration are supremely prevalent and it is a dark powerful wine. The nose gives us cassis and ripe plum, hints of fresh herbs and a beautiful cocoa note. While this wine will show beautifully young, it will certainly age better than most of us.

This is a gentleman’s wine. Polished, refined and sophisticated, it never disappoints. The Cabernet Franc, which makes up 42% of the blend comes from Sugarloaf Mountain and brings with it an amazing ripe tobacco leaf aromatic that gives way to a floral quality that captivates and charms you. The Franc also has a mid-palate power that ensures that this wine will rest in the cellar for many years and still be youthful. The Cabernet Sauvignon for this wine was aged in 100% Sylvain Grand Reserve barrels which help manage the wine’s tannins, giving them a round refined quality. The combination of the two varietals is spectacular; this wine is a true show stopper.

Immediate aromatics of cocoa and floral leap from the glass. Juicy red fruits equates to a beautiful round texture to match. Polished and refined as Alessio has always been, the 2018 brings an extra level on intensity.

The 2019 version of our Alessio is far and away the most gigantic Alessio to date. Incredible weight, it pulses on the palate. This is Cabernet, Merlot and Cabernet Franc forming the perfect blend of concentration, power and seductiveness. Dark cocoa and boysenberry gush from the glass and continue to pull you in until the last sip crosses your lips.

The 2021 Alessio kicks up the intensity level a notch. This wine has fabulous richness and considerably more curves than it's siblings. It starts with cherry and berry aromatics that then go to espresso bean and rich tobacco. On the palate, it lives for almost a minute. The finish is incredibly long and pushes the fruit profile even further. This wine will be approachable within two years, but will have an incredibly long life ahead of it.

As is always the case, the Alessio 2022 shows the most complexity and depth of flavor amongst all of our cuvees. It has a base of Merlot, then there are equal parts, Cabernet franc and Cabernet Sauvignon which work to ramp up the wine's aromatics and flavors. The bouquet is a combination of dark fruits, mocha, and rich tobacco. The Cabernet Franc gives it nice weight on the back of the palate while the Merlot completes the wine by giving a beautiful roundness.

The 2023 Alessio stands out as the most layered and expressive wine in our portfolio. A perfectly balanced blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot creates a symphony of aromatics and depth. The nose offers seductive notes of dark fruit, mocha, and rich tobacco, while the palate is framed by the weight and structure of Cabernet Franc and the silky, rounded finish of Merlot. Complex, elegant, and complete — a true showcase of our winemaking craft.

Whereas this wine is named after a baby, and babies are still so pure and innocent, this wine conveys those qualities perfectly. There has never been a Perus Wine that speaks to the purest essence of cabernet sauvignon as this does. A beam of blackberry and blueberry, a mouthfeel of verve and vibrancy this is cabernet's highest level of pure perfection.

Where Pritchard Hill is traditionally known for refinement and complexity, this is a combination of intensity and focus. The textures are primal, on the verge of Neanderthal. The beautiful flavor profile is cherry and berry, but then the textures take control and let you know that this is the wine made to live for decades. This is not a shy wine, if you don’t wanna play with our intensity you don’t wanna play with Ines.

Much like her sibling the Bryn, this wine finds her harmony in the combination of two different components. Here we showcase the mountain fruit from the Sage Ridge vineyard whose 1200 foot elevation gives it an extra level of intensity. The Tench portion of the wine brings a velvety quality that helps tame the mountain fruit’s structure. Fine grain tannins, a long finish that show cases beautiful red fruit flavors reveals the wine’s feminine side, but there is no mistaking that this wine is all about Cabernet Sauvignon and it’s amazing purity fruit.

This wine shows an intensity that comes from its origins. Lively and energetic, the blue and purple fruits compete for your attention. On the palate, the natural acidity screams for something rich and hearty and the tannins coat the palate and give way to a long, lingering finish.

The 2019 Janeen is incredibly supple for such a massive wine. The fruit profile starts with raspberries and cherries and as it gains weight it has a beautiful spicy component that closes out the finish. Dark colors exude power and intensity, but the wine has a refined edge that speaks to it’s vineyard perched at 1400 ft elevation.

Hailing from the Sage Ridge Vineyard adjacent to Pritchard Hill, the 2021 Janeen shows its mountain fruit-like qualities. Fabulous weight and concentration yet the tannins are incredibly polished. Every step of the winemaking process with this wine is geared towards capturing the seductive, textures and taming the mountain tannin. In 2021 we have succeeded. Vibrant cassis, and blueberry notes soar from the glass, giving way to a fabulous mineral driven finish. This wine has considerable weight, but is incredibly light on her toes.

Our 2022 Janeen is textbook Janeen, there is a reason this wine is always a crowd pleaser, and this vintage is no exception. From the first sip, the wine has voluptuous textures that bring a smile to your face. Raspberry and blueberry flavors leap from the glass and pull you into the wine. As it opens up, it continues to put on weight and begins to show a beautiful floral aromatic quality.

The 2023 Janeen comes from the Sage Ridge Vineyard and showcases its typical blackberry and cherry flavors. In this vintage the acidity really shines, the energy across the palate stays with it from the second you sip it all the way through a long one minute finish. The tannins build, but never become chunky as the acid maintains control front to back. This is a wine that would pair perfectly with short ribs or your favorite hearty dish.

This is a blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot. The goal when crafting this wine was to showcase the amazing harmony that these two varietals highlight in each other. The Cabernet Sauvignon with all of its power and purity of fruits is enhanced by the Merlot’s amazing mid-palate and richness. The Merlot with all of its chocolatey goodness benefits from the Cabernets black berry and blueberry flavors. The resulting wine is a combination of power and seductiveness.

Stone fruits, flowers and black cherries, all of the things that make a farmer's market perfection for me live in this fine wine. Ethereal lightness with intensity, this wine pushes your imagination one way and then another. Is it Nureyev or is it Bruce Lee? Either way it is a combination of tightly wound power in an incredibly artistic wrapper. It glides with an elegance and grace across the palate.

This is the perfect marriage of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with the right intensity of Oakville Cab and the plush bittersweet chocolate naughtiness of Sugarloaf Merlot. Regardless of your mood, if you’re looking for something to build you up or something to call you down, this one brings out the best in all of us. Dark cherry plum raspberry flavor is complemented with chocolate mocha and blue rolling a hint of cocoa.

The 2021 Bryn is an incredibly elegant wine. The vintage as a whole gives you incredible power and concentration, yet this wine is all about showcasing the Sugarloaf Merlot & Tench Cabernet Sauvignon. The vintage has beautiful sides. The entry is all about gorgeous blackberry fruits that give way to hints of mocha and a little bit of roasted coffee. The mid palate is round and supple, but the tannins build, making this wine serious and polished on the end. This wine will provide immense pleasure immediately, but should improve for at least a decade.

This year‘s Bryn is a powerful one. It includes a slightly higher percentage of Tench Cabernet Sauvignon that gives it a strong backbone. At the winery, we worked hard to manage the tannins to make sure this wine has it's telltale supple textures. While the color is inky black, it's textures are still round and polished.

The 2023 Bryn is a bold and captivating blend, bursting with richness and depth. Layers of crème de cassis, ripe blue fruits, and a plush, full-bodied texture unfold effortlessly on the palate. Polished tannins and an expansive mid-palate lead into a long, satisfying finish. With its generous fruit and approachability, this wine is ready to impress from the very first pour.

Dark and brooding, this is not a wine to be taken lightly. Right now she is a mouthful of goth rambunctiousness. Attitude, edge, and a sharp tongue, this is the wine you drink in the dark while reading your favorite book and wanting to be left alone. Perfectly balanced and extremely powerful - this is a wine with decades in her future while maintaining her youthfulness the entire time.

If you have ever enjoyed 97% dark chocolate, you’re gonna want to back the truck up and order the 2019 Lyla. The initial impact on the palate is almost overwhelming. You feel the intensity of this wine before you even taste it from its aromatics. Verve, intensity, it never stops pushing the envelope when it comes to pleasure. This wine gives but it also takes.

The 2022 Lyla showcases the classic Sugarloaf Mountain flavors and textures. Aromatically it is a combination of spring flowers and dark chocolate. With a little bit of air, it begins to showcase plum and cherry fruit flavors that linger on the palate. The textures are driven by a nice buildup of tannins on the finish.
